On Bailey's Island

This picture is a few years old now, we had been at a friends lobster cookout. Our friends Ralph and Elizabeth have since passed away, they were good people.

The red chain.

No one is supposed to go past the red chain! It has been put here by an out of stater who, since he owns the red chain, owns all of what is beyond the red chain. Unfortunately the locals don't like red chains, come to think of it they don't like the out of stater's either, so many times the red chain has to go through some abuse. Thanks to the locals, this particular day the red chain did not serve it's intended purpose and we all passed it :) God bless the locals.
