On the porch

Hanging out on the front porch of our humble summer home in the Hampton's. No parties to go to today so we decided to invite a couple hundred of our good friend for dinner......and then I woke up and we were standing in front of LL Bean in Freeport, Maine :) Strobist: CLS TTL, Bare SB800 with 1/2 CTO from top left and on camera flash for fill -0.7 EV.

Waiting

We wanted to take some sunset shots but the sunset was a bust and it was freezing cold.
Strobist: SB800, 1/2 power, manual, from top right and setting sun to left of camera.

On the Beach

We went to the beach today, the wind was blowing and temperatures were in the upper forties, so needless to say, despite the nice sunshine it was rather miserable :) Strobist: Sun from rear left and handheld SB800 from front right, had to shoot cross handed :) Really missed my D70 and it's high sync speed for this one.

Golden Chrysoberyl Ring

Just finished making this simple 14K two tone ring, by customer request I hand engraved the sides with a simple scroll pattern.
Strobist: AB1600 in soft box from above and reflector to left of camera.
